- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup crushed potato chips
- 1/2 cup marshmallow fluff
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and crushed potato chips.
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown but the centers are still soft.
- Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, spread a small amount of marshmallow fluff on top of each cookie.
Notes
- The potato chips provide a salty contrast to the sweet chocolate chips, creating a perfect balance of flavors.
- For extra texture, you can add more crushed potato chips on top of the cookies before baking.
- Make sure the cookies are fully cooled before adding the marshmallow fluff, as it will melt if applied to warm cookies.
