- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt together.
- Make a well in the center and add the eggs, milk, and melted butter.
- Mix together until a dough forms. Knead on a lightly floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover the dough with a towel and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Roll the dough out thinly and cut into desired noodle shapes.
- Allow the noodles to dry for about 20-30 minutes before cooking.
- To cook, boil in salted water for 2-4 minutes until tender. Drain and serve as desired.
Notes
- Dust noodles with extra flour to prevent sticking while drying.
- For richer noodles, use an extra egg yolk.
- Fresh noodles cook much faster than dried pasta, so keep an eye on them.
- Freeze uncooked noodles for later use by placing them in an airtight container.
