- 1 pizza crust (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup refried beans
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped onions
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup sliced jalapenos (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro (for garnish)
- 1 tablespoon sour cream (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning. Set aside.
- Spread a thin layer of refried beans on the pizza crust, followed by a layer of salsa.
- Top with seasoned ground beef, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese.
- Bake the pizza for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the crust is crispy.
- Remove from the oven and add chopped tomatoes, onions, black olives, and jalapenos (if using) on top of the pizza.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve with a dollop of sour cream, if desired.
Notes
- You can use ground turkey or chicken as a healthier alternative to ground beef.
- Feel free to customize the toppings with other Mexican ingredients like avocado, corn, or shredded lettuce.
- For extra spice, add more jalapenos or a drizzle of hot sauce.
