- 1 can (5 oz) tuna in oil or water, drained
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup sweet corn (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Mixed greens (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice. Stir well to combine.
- Add the chopped red onion, celery, and sweet corn (if using) to the tuna mixture and stir again until evenly distributed.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately on its own or on a bed of mixed greens, or refrigerate for 30 minutes to chill before serving.
Notes
- For a lighter version, you can substitute the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like cucumber, bell peppers, or olives for more flavor.
