- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 150g (5 oz) spicy Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 1/3 cup sliced pepperoncini (mild or hot, to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh basil leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it preheats.
- Place the thin crust on a baking sheet or pizza peel if using a stone.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly over the crust.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
- Evenly distribute the cooked spicy sausage and sliced pepperoncini.
- Sprinkle with red pepper flakes if desired for extra heat.
- Drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and crust is golden and crisp.
- Remove from oven, garnish with fresh basil if using, slice, and serve hot.
